Orientation Programme

“A parent is a teacher at home and a teacher is a parent; and the child is the centre of our universe.”

Orientation is an opportunity for the new parents and students to get acclimated to the culture of the school – the second home, its rules and expectations and get familiar with the faculty members. To learn their way around the campus, and find out more about the year ahead, curriculum requirements and pedagogy. An orientation program for new students of class pre-school to 8th and their parents was held at Maxfort School, Paschim Vihar on 28th April, 2023. It was a sincere effort made by the school to familiarize them with the curriculum, rules and regulations, scholastic and co-scholastic activities.

The program commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by our principal ma’am. This was followed a soulful rendition of song ‘Sapne Re’ by Maxfortians. Afterwards, our principal ma’am, Dr. Ragini Kaul was felicitated for her recent, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam award for excellence in leadership. Ma’am took over the mic to address the audience and assure new parents regarding the safety and security of their child at Maxfort.

Two students from senior wings intimated the parents about the school’s infrastructure and the facilities that school provides through a talk-show. They briefly intimated them about the classrooms, pedagogies and curriculum that is being followed, clubs and co-curricular activities at Maxfort. Parents were informed about Maxfort being an inclusive school which is fully equipped to meet the needs of specially abled students as well.

An interactive session was planned where Principal ma’am took the doubts and queries of the parents regarding the functioning of the school. The programme concluded with a commendable dance performance by Maxfortian which left the audience in complete awe.

At last parents were escorted towards ‘Information desk’ where they could inquire about school transportation facility and interact with the class teacher of their ward. The programme proved to be beneficial as it carried mandatory and fruitful information for the new parents and students.
