DENTAL HEALTH CAMP
Dental Health Camp A dental health camp, organized by Maxfort School, Paschim Vihar was recently conducted to promote oral health awareness among its students. The initiative aimed to educate students about proper oral hygiene and regular dental care. The dental checkup took place on the 10th and 11th of August’23 at the school premises. It was a collaborative effort between the school and White Star dental clinic, a reputed dental clinic in the area.
During the checkup, students were informed about the significance of maintaining good oral hygiene. The dental professionals emphasized the importance of brushing and flossing regularly, as well as the adverse effects of neglecting oral health. They explained how dental problems can affect overall well being and academic performance.
Each student received a thorough dental examination by qualified dentists. This included an assessment of dental hygiene, identification of cavities, and evaluation of gum health. Students were able to ask questions and address any concerns they had about their dental health.
In addition to the checkup, interactive sessions were conducted to educate students about proper brushing techniques, the right choice of toothbrush and toothpaste, and the role of a balanced diet in maintaining strong teeth. Visual aids, models, and demonstrations made the learning experience engaging and informative.
The dental checkup event also served as a platform to raise awareness about oral health issues within the school community. Posters and informational materials were displayed in prominent areas to provide students with tips on maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Such initiatives not only prioritize students’ health but also create a foundation for a healthier future generation.
